Raymond Lee as Physicist Dr. Benjamin “Ben” Song
Ben, the protagonist of Quantum Leap, is the replacement for Dr. Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula). Ben makes an inadvertent jump into the past while attempting to revitalize Dr. Beckett’s accelerator and his project, causing his crew to wonder why he did so.
Caitlin Bassett as Addison Augustine
Ben’s fiancé, Addison Augustine, is an Army veteran played by Caitlin Bassett, who helps him with his leaps. Ben is the only one who can see and hear her when she transforms into a hologram. She is a part of the Quantum Leap group as well.
Mason Alexander Park as Ian Wright
Ian Wright, the principal architect of Quantum Leap and a crucial team member, is portrayed by Mason Alexander. Together with them, Ian created the productive AI unit “Ziggy.” Ziggy provided Ian with crucial information about Ben’s leaps while he adjusted the system’s programming.
Ernie Hudson as Herbert “Magic” Williams
As the leader of Quantum Leap’s time-travel initiative, Ernie Hudson portrays Herbert “Magic” Williams, a veteran of the Vietnam War. Being the only member of the crew having ties to Dr. Beckett from the first series, he is fiercely loyal to his group and the mission.
Nanisa Lee as Jenn Chou
Starring as Jenn Chou, the Head of Security at the Quantum Leap headquarters, is Nanisa Lee. Since Magic was the one who brought her in after she was arrested in a Bitcoin scam, she worked closely with him. Jenn puts all of her effort into her work to establish her value to the team and goes above and above to maintain Quantum Leap’s operations.

Eliza Taylor as Hannah Carson
One of the newest characters to join the cast in season two is Eliza Taylor. According to her NBC character bio, she will portray Hannah Carson, a “complex young woman who may be more than she appears.” Though Hannah’s background is unknown, we believe she will be a valuable addition to Dr. Ben’s team. In the third episode, Hannah will make her screen debut.
Peter Gadiot as Tom Westfall
The second member of the Quantum Leap crew, Peter Gadiot, is an Army veteran and Special Forces man named Tom. Tom is “thoughtful, centered, a spiritual kind of warrior whom both men and women admire, but whose humility keeps him from ever being arrogant,” according to NBC’s description of him.
