The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will be issuing a $1,500 stimulus check on January 10 to eligible individuals, as reported by BSc News Portal. This payment is specifically for legal taxpayers who filed their 2021 taxes, ensuring only genuine beneficiaries receive the funds.
Approximately 1.2 million households will benefit from this stimulus, with nearly 900,000 tenants also receiving a $450 payout. The stimulus aims to alleviate concerns about tax payments for both homeowners and tenants, according to information from the Income Tax Gujarat website.
Eligibility for the $1,500 stimulus check extends to homeowners earning $150,000 or less in income, while those with incomes up to $250,000 will receive a $1,000 stimulus check. It’s important to note that this stimulus payment is a one-time rebate.
For individuals who did not receive their rebate on January 10, they can apply through the IRS lead portal. The portal will provide a link for tenants or landlords to enter their information and submit relevant documents related to their property and lease.
