Vikings: Valhalla Season 3 Release Date Is 2024
According to Netflix, Vikings: Valhalla season 3 will be released in 2024. We believe it could be as late as early 2024. Why? Each of the current seasons of Vikings: Valhalla premiered in February 2022 and January 2023. In addition, production for a third season began in the middle of 2022 and has presumably concluded, or is very close to doing so.
If so, January or February 2024 could be the probable release date for the third season of Vikings: Valhalla. More news as we get it.
Who Could Return to Vikings: Valhalla in Season 3?
Next season will likely see the return of Leif (Sam Corlett), Harald (Leo Suter), and Freydis (Frida Gustavsson). Queen Emma (Laura Berlin), Godwin (David Oakes), King Canute (Bradley Freegard), Queen Aelfgifu (Pollyanna McIntosh), and Elena (Sofya Lebedeva) will presumably round out the principal cast.

What’s Next for Leif, Harald, and Freydis in Season 3 of Vikings: Valhalla?
After the Vikings: Valhalla season 2 finale, it is evident that Leif and Harald will continue to expand the show’s horizons in Constantinople, despite the inherent peril of speculating about the show’s future.
Leif is a changed man, as evidenced by the second season: steadily adopting the Christian faith and eager to learn more about the world, he’s planning to visit Mariam’s home in the Byzantine city in order to expand his knowledge.
Harald, however, is not using his intellect. Elena, the enigmatic woman who accompanied him to Constantinople, is the object of his affection. It is revealed that she is engaged to the Emperor, so any relationship between the two may have to be kept secret if Harald wishes to retain his head.
In contrast, Freydis’s voyage is considerably more open-ended. She has mediated peace between Kattegat and Canute and Forkbeard, by definition. Now that the conflict is over, she can concentrate on rearing her newborn son. However, new hazards can emerge at any time. As the last holdout of the pagan ways, she may have to lead a counterattack against any new foes if the Vikings are threatened.
Finally, in London, Queen Emma has control over Godwin. By manipulating his way into a marriage with Canute’s niece Gytha, the Earl of Wessex may have gotten his desire, but Emma uncovered secrets about his past in the process. Godwin could become Emma’s attack dog if the precarious political situation in England deteriorates. With this valuable information, which she could readily relay to Canute, Godwin could become Emma’s attack dog.
Despite the fact that Netflix has only ordered three seasons of Vikings: Valhalla, creator Jeb Stuart has previously stated that he intends to conclude the Viking era in 1066.
“Most historians believe that the Viking era ended in 1066. I’d be thrilled to do so. That will take me longer than three seasons. It would be the conclusion. There’s a lot of wonderful history out there, and all these characters have grown tremendously.”

Stuart hinted, “I knew where Season 3 would take us because of the cultural shift; I knew we would eventually reach the New World.” “What exactly is in the toolbox? How do we fill Leif’s arsenal, and what does Freydis bring to capture the last adherents of the Pagan religion? And we are aware of what is occurring in Europe at that time. So for us, it’s thrilling.”
Stuart also mentioned the possibility of time leaps during the same interview. In the upcoming seasons, years (and decades) may be skipped if the series, as is Stuart’s custom, is headed to 1066.

When Can We Anticipate a Season Three Vikings: Valhalla Trailer?
