In his desperation to find a means of bringing his brother back, Lee Rang even considers striking a bargain with the God of the Underworld. The King discloses that they have to make a sacrifice in exchange for their request for Yi Yeon’s return.
Lee Rang gives his all for his brother without thinking twice. We were all moved by his profound love and brotherhood. Yi Yeon and Ji-Ah marry and have a joyful ending together.
It is implied that Yi Yeon’s brother has resurrected when he runs into a small child in an extra scene who looks like a miniature version of Lee Rang. Yi Yeon is shown regaining his Gumiho skills in the final scene, leaving us to wonder what will happen next.
