Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3 Storyline

Star Wars The Bad Batch Season 3 release date

We still don’t have an official plot summary for Season 3, but we can guess based on what we know about the story. As already stated, the first time we see Clone Force 99 is in the last season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. There, they help Clone Captain Rex and Jedi General Anakin Skywalker (Matt Lanter) beat Separatist Admiral Trench. There will be a lot of spoilers for Seasons 1 and 2 of The Bad Batch below.

In the first episode of The Bad Batch, we see that Clone Force 99 is still fighting in the Clone Wars. The leader Hunter, the strong Wrecker, the smart Tech, the sharpshooting Crosshair, and the live computer Echo are still fighting. The team seems to have kept their personality and free will, while their “reg” friends have been turned into lifeless drones.

Tech thinks this is because of their unique mutations, but the rest of the team can see that Crosshair is much more eager to serve their new Empire. Omega is a young girl who has grown to like the team. They meet her when they go back to their home world of Kamino. They quickly learn that Omega is a brand-new kind of clone, and they decide that the Empire is too dangerous and dangerous for Omega and them.

They get the child and get away from Kamino, but Crosshair, their old partner, stays behind to become a terrifying Imperial killer. So, the Bad Batch became mercenaries who traveled the galaxy to avoid the Empire’s all-seeing eye. They went on many adventures and met many well-known characters from the Star Wars world.

The team eventually owed money to Cid (Rhea Perlman), a stingy Trandoshan who did odd jobs for them in exchange for credits. Crosshair’s life is getting worse, and he slowly realizes that the Empire is not the best road for the galaxy while the Bad Batch explores the galaxy and looks for a place to settle down. Crosshair is silenced and sent to a mysterious study center. The Bad Batch would also end up in the same place.

The plan goes horribly wrong, and Tech gives his life to save the team. But that’s not the end of their problems. Cid suddenly sells the Bad Batch to the Empire. While the main team gets away, the Empire captures Omega and brings her to their base on Mount Tantiss. At the end of the second season, it was shockingly revealed that Omega is not the only female clone. One of the base’s supervisors is actually an older version of Omega.

There is no doubt that Omega’s sister and the Emperor will be important parts of Season 3 of The Bad Batch. The footage shown at Star Wars Celebration makes it look like the season will be about the Emperor’s cloning program. This is what will finally allow him to come back to life in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
