The main character of the anime is Tetsuo Tosu, a middle-class moron who learns that his daughter, Reika, is involved in an abusive relationship. Tosu likes to read and write mystery books even though he manages a nearby toy business.
Tosu decides to relieve Reika’s suffering after observing how emotionally and physically draining her partner Nobuto is causing her. Nobuto is a kind of serial murderer who kills his women after robbing them of large sums of money.
