South India, much awaited The release date for the upcoming film HanMan has been set, and the producers have decided to celebrate Sankranti in 2024. Hanuman, which is being hailed as the first superhero movie produced in Telugu, was written and directed by Prasanth Varma, who is best known for helming films like Awe (2018) and Zombie Reddy (2021).
Varma is an innovative director who is renowned for his ground-breaking ideas that redefine Telugu culture. He revealed the movie on May 29, 2021, the day before his birthday, and Indian superhero fans have since taken an interest in it. A pooja ceremony was held in June 2021 to officially launch the movie, and on that same day, filming got under way.
Dulquer Salmaan, a star of Mollywood, unveiled the movie’s first trailer in September 2021. Now that three eagerly awaited Telugu movies are debuting simultaneously during Sankranthi, it would be interesting to see. It may be a difficult task for theater owners as well, given that all three are major motion pictures.

The superhero movie was originally slated to hit theaters on May 12, 2023, in 11 different languages, including English, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam. However, the release date was postponed, and the producers announced this along with the teaser.
The release date will now be announced on July 1 with a 12-day grace period. Hanuman’s production budget has climbed six times from its initial estimate, according to information provided earlier by director Prasanth Verma during the Hyderabad teaser launch event.

About Hanuman
The first film in the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe, Hanuman, is said to be set in the made-up village of Anja Nadri. Hanumanthu, Satish Kumar, Raj Deepak Shetty, and Amritha Aiyer as Meenakshi all appear in this superhero film.
Chaitanya is presenting the project, which is being financially supported by Niranjan Reddy under the Prime show Entertainment banner. Due to the shock caused by the death of veteran Superstar Krishna, the teaser presentation event for the film was postponed from its original November 15, 2022 release date. Later, on Monday, November 21st, the trailer was revealed. It is an action mythological drama, and the VFX appears to be rich and spectacular.
