What Happens in Mask Girl?
Kim Mo-mi desired to become a performer as a child. However, her appearance, which did not conform to society’s unattainable attractiveness standards, hindered her ambitions.
Now in 2009, Mo-mi is employed at a mundane office job, where she battles her insecurities and harbors an insatiable crush on her superior, Mr. Park. Mo-mi endeavors to reclaim her childhood dream by moonlighting as a masked camgirl dubbed Mask Girl, whose seductive dance routines captivate a growing audience.
