You’ll be getting more Bargain Block soon. HGTV has picked up the popular home improvement show Bargain Block for a fourth season with ten episodes. They have also ordered a sister show called Bargain Block: New Orleans with five episodes.

Reno experts Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas will work together on both shows to fix up areas in Detroit and New Orleans, one house at a time. The first episodes of both shows are set to air this fall.

HGTV has picked up "Bargain Block" for a fourth season.

More than 14 million people watched the third season of Bargain Block, making it one of the top three non-news/sports cable shows among upscale P25–54 and upscale W25–54. The show is about Bynum and Thomas, who buy several run-down houses on the same block and take them all apart to the walls. With the help of real estate agent Shea Hicks-Whitfield, the two make stylish, inexpensive homes that come fully furnished and are perfect for people who are buying their first home.

In Bargain Block New Orleans, they will take their successful business plan to the south for the winter to help fix up run-down homes. In NO, the couple will have to deal with unique problems when they try to fix up their homes, such as fixing up homes that were damaged by hurricanes, dealing with bees, and following strict building rules. Whitfield will help when hard business choices need to be made.

Loren Ruch, Head of Content at HGTV, said, “Millions of home improvement fans have watched Bargain Block for three seasons to see Keith, Evan, and Shea’s passion for making Detroit communities better. It’s a strong ratings driver for the network.” “We are sure that a huge number of their fans will want to go with them to New Orleans to see how they change and protect this unique city.”

High Noon Entertainment is in charge of making Bargain Block.

Streaming of past seasons of Bargain Block is possible on Max.
