30 Coins Season 2 Episode 2 Recap
Episode 2 of 30 Coins opens at the Vatican while the Pope mulls over his next course of action. As he does, Elena hears from a bruised and bloodied Paco about what she saw, including the fact that he glanced at the coin that Carmen was clearly after.
Roque, a candidate who initially challenged Paco in the previous election, is Elena’s next target. As Paco enters the pub, they are seated next to each other and things turn tense right away. Before Roque can continue, he is cut off by a phone call, despite his claims to have strong informants. Paco, in fact, gulps down his coffee swiftly and walks out as well.
In the meantime, Ricardo, the son of Santiago, sneaks some booze out from behind his bar and heads to a remote cemetery with a group of his pals. They start calling out spirits after dropping an Ouija board on the ground together. The shot glass starts to move right away, forming the words Gaeta and Giacomo. The last curtain call is when all the candles go out, and it spells out “I am here.” Sole, one of their own, vanishes.

The child is the target of a manhunt, but Ricardo is currently the main suspect. However, things take a much worse turn for him when his father finds out that Antonio is in possession of tablets. However, the cops acknowledge to Paco outside that there isn’t any evidence or anything pointing to a violent altercation.
Roque goes with Elena as they go talk to the parents and kids playing the Ouija game. After reading up on the Giacomo surname online, she concludes that this might be a reference to the exorcised child Manuel once had.
There are also mentions of Elena experimenting with her own Ouija game and having previously communicated with a spirit known as Chuqui. It remains to be seen, though, if this is relevant to this narrative.
Paco joins Merce, and the two of them unveil the new hospital’s plaque. But then a shotgun-wielding, furious Martin arrives and demands to know where his daughter is. As he tries to console the Father, Paco holds him.
The kids start texting each other that evening, and then all of a sudden, Sole sends a text with a sad face emoji and a weird string of words. Then, when she calls Vane, Sole informs them that the Ouija must be performed once more since it is their only chance to bring her back.

The kids gather together, but because Elvira invited Elena to supervise them, she does so this time. They can all tell that Sole is communicating and that she wants to talk to Elena by the way the shot glass glides around the board. At first, Elena says no, but after she touches the shot glass, Sole comes back and appears to be possessed. Meanwhile, Elena finds it difficult to get rid of the unsettling visions of three priests.
Sole goes straight inside to visit Manuel, who extends his regrets for the previous events. She has only been instructed to speak and deliver a message. That says, quite simply, “Give us back what is ours.” Sole hears voices speaking in hushed tones as Martin assists and demonstrates for his daughter. Sole informs an uninvited onlooker that they will die when they are out strolling. and after an hour, they do.
Both Paco and Manuel talk about the implications for their village as the town is rocked. Elvira messages Sole, and the two of them sit together while Sole acknowledges that what occurred to her isn’t typical and muses over whether or not she is possessed. It seems that she can now perceive people’s auras in various tones of white, blue, red, and black.
Elvira is understandably freaked out by this. She goes over to Elena and informs her that Sole thinks he’s going to pass away. And without warning, this man gets into a terrible accident after leaving a flower shop.

When Sole returns home, she has an accident of her own and is discovered hanging from the rafters. She says “they” are punishing her, and she notices that Manuel has an odd aura that is red and black. That night, Manuel sees a message on the TV from Sole, who is obviously chasing the coin he has.
Manuel offers to take Sole to the location where he is holding his coin after she cuts open her own mouth with a knife. Elena’s home is the gathering place, and when Elena and Roque start getting close, Sole takes advantage of the situation and repeatedly stabs Roque in the back.
While Elena snatches up the coin, Manuel tries his hardest to talk to her. When the roof comes off and Sole begins to lose control, chaos ensues. The manual advises her to think of her mother, and it appears to work. After a while, everything gets back to normal—or as normal as it can be—
When we switch to Antonio, he addresses an odd, shadowy figure as “Your Eminence” and chats with it.
