Steiner relocated to Milan after achieving success with Top Run Srl in the Group N division of the World Rally Championship. During the 1991 and 1992 World Rally Championship seasons, he joined Jolly Club Spa as the director of reconnaissance for the Group A team.
Steiner arrived at Jolly Club Spa in 1994 as its technical manager. Three years later, he gathered his belongings and relocated to the United Kingdom to assume the role of team manager for Prodrive’s Allstar Rally Team.
