David Montgomery and the Detroit Lions reached a three-year, $18 million contract in March 2023, according to Spotrac. A $4.5 million signing bonus, $11 million in guaranteed funds, and an average annual salary of $6 million are all included in the agreement. Except for the signing bonus, the running back’s 2023 salary and $3 million of his 2024 compensation are guaranteed.
