There are certain compositions that are comparable to the “ball don’t lie” of the record industry. When a friend and you disagree on a decision, the matter is resolved through a shot for the ball; whoever makes the attempt receives the ball. After enduring years of trivial disputes and disappointing absences of new music, Nicki Minaj would materialize at the last second to reveal the truth with a majestic stroke, much like a clutch shooter.
Nicki entered the contest by releasing “Hiss,” a scathing new single by Megan Thee Stallion that alludes to a law affecting her spouse, who was convicted of attempted rape. In exchange for some much-needed points, Nicki pledged to deliver a similarly scathing track. Still, she missed. in a bad way.
Nicki Fails to Continue Her Legacy in “Big Foot”
Sunday’s “Big Foot” is a haphazardly constructed Megan insult track in which Nicki fails at the one thing for which she was formerly recognized. The aforementioned negative conduct, which manifested as a social media frenzy and sparked fan apprehension regarding her purported cocaine consumption, serves as a poignant reminder of the fact that Nicki Minaj has become more recognizable through subtweets than through lyrics, and that being a fan has become more challenging than ever.
“Big Foot” appeared as sloppy and carefree as it was haphazard, beginning with its slightly ad hoc release schedule; she ceases rapping in the middle of the song and uses the remaining generic Detroit beat to deliver a muttered tirade that is not even worthy of being rejected by Queen Radio.

Furthermore, during her rap sessions, she delivers couplets that are notably uninteresting and tonally casual in nature, incorporating antiquated punchline structures and generic talking points that the majority of Megan detractors have already expressed for several years.
In the midpoint of the composition, she unleashes a series of lyrics that employ repetition as a means to generate excitement in anticipation of a climax that merely restates the prevailing Megan–Tory Lanez conspiracy theory: “Barbz, I need a good alcohol bar; Roman, wait, that was the bar; I keep raising the bar like a bodybuilder; Fuck you get shot without a scar?”

Vogue Magazine’s Entertainment Director is Apologizing to Minaj
Vogue magazine’s entertainment director, Sergio Kletnoy, has apologized for posting some dubious emojis beneath Nicki Minaj’s Instagram Live feed that appeared to downplay Megan Thee Stallion was shot in the foot. However, Black Twitter made sure he didn’t get away with it.
Minaj made fun of Tory Lanez’s 2020 shooting of Meg throughout the livestream and in the song “Bigfoot” (he was given a 10-year prison sentence for the incident last year). She referred to the rapper “Body” as a “bullet fragment foot b***h.”
By using multiple foot emojis in his comments and asking, “Not ‘fragment foot’ lol not even a whole foot?” Kletnoy made matters worse. Fans started criticizing Kletnoy when they saw how powerful he was—booking celebrities for interviews and picture shoots is part of his job at the esteemed fashion magazine.
