Taylor Swift Can Attend Super Bowl After Concert Assures Japanese Embassy!

Weary fans may rest easy knowing pop diva Taylor Swift won’t be missing the Super Bowl due to her concert in Tokyo, according to the Japanese Embassy in the US. Swift can travel safely from Japan to Las Vegas in time to cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs—and her beau Travis Kelce—according to a clever statement released by the Japanese Embassy in Washington, DC. The statement is full of puns.

The Japanese Embassy said that it appears they are playing cupid for Swift and Kelce. “…aware of recent media reports concerning the steps Taylor Swift will need to take to travel from Tokyo after her concert on 10 February to Las Vegas in time to watch the Kansas City Chief play in Super Bowl LVIII,” the Embassy wrote.

The Japanese Embassy further stated that, if Swift leaves Tokyo soon after her performance on February 10th, she should be able to “comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins” on February 11th, even with the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Japan

The Embassy has guaranteed that the Japanese will be “Fearless” because Swift could “wow” the audiences and still travel to Las Vegas to support “the Chiefs when they take the field for the Super Bowl wearing Red” amidst the considerable enthusiasm surrounding Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Japan.

In response to the statement made by the Japanese Embassy regarding Taylor Swift, Ian Bremmer, an American political scientist, expressed his views on the X platform: “It is difficult to imagine a more renowned figure guaranteeing her return in time for a date than Swift herself.”

Did Kelce Respond over Swift’s Attendance at Super Bowl

Kelce’s statistical performance this year has not been as dominant as it has been in prior years. A knee injury that prevented him from playing in the Chiefs’ Week 1 loss to the Lions and his absence from the Chiefs’ regular-season finale against the Chargers, when they had secured the AFC West and were unable to improve upon their No. 3 postseason seed, contributed to that.

However, when asked if this year, his eleventh in the league, has been more difficult than others, the 34-year-old Kelce hesitated.

“I mean, every single year is different,” he said, “and I’m not going to lie, there have been years where I’ve kind of battled through some things that frankly were a little more serious, and a little more frustrating than what I had to go through this year.”
