On Sunday, January 28, Pat Mahomes Sr., the father of quarterback Patrick Mahomes, will attend the AFC Championship football game; however, he may choose not to sit in the same private box as Jason Kelce and Taylor Swift.
Pat, 53, replied, “I hope not,” in response to a question about whether he anticipates sitting next to Travis Kelce’s brother and girlfriend at the next game during an interview on WFAN Sports Radio’s “Evan & Tiki” show.
“No, I don’t think so,” he said. Normally, Patrick and Travis both have their own affairs. .. Taylor probably has enough money to purchase whichever suite she chooses if she wants one.
The Kansas City Chiefs, led by tight end Travis, 34, and quarterback Patrick, 28, will take on the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium in Maryland on Sunday in an attempt to advance to Super Bowl LVIII. (The San Francisco 49ers or the Detroit Lions, the winners of the NFC Championship game, will face the Chiefs/Ravens winner.)
Swift, 34, hasn’t said if she’ll be at the game on Sunday, but Jason’s wife Kylie Kelce said she and Jason will be there to support Travis and the Chiefs in person on Friday’s Good Morning America program.

Swift, who began courting Travis in the summer of 2023, attended a significant number of his Chiefs games throughout the 2023-2024 campaign. On January 21, she attended his divisional playoff game against the Buffalo Bills, which marked the first meeting between Jason and Kylie, age 31. (Donna and Ed Kelce, the parents of Travis and Jason, were also in attendance.) Jason gained notoriety for his disruptive behavior, which included removing his shirt and scaling the window subsequent to Travis’s touchdown.
Pat, meanwhile, observed the theatrics of the Philadelphia Eagles center from a distance.
“In reality, I was two booths lower.” “However, as soon as [Jason] began doing that, I looked down and noticed him,” Pat, a former professional baseball pitcher who has since retired, said on Thursday. “It is an ironic coincidence that we were both enjoying a beer in the restroom at one point.” Travis and I have been acquainted for a considerable duration, as he is comparable to an additional son to me.

Pat further stated, “I’ve spent considerable time with [Jason], and I’ve previously shared a booth with Taylor, who was truly pleasant and sincere. I went over there and spent a brief moment with them following the game, subsequent to our victory. “Those individuals are quite amusing; if you find Jason to be wild, wait until you see Travis!”
This past Sunday was not Pat’s initial encounter with the Grammy winner. Earlier this season, they first encountered one another during a Chiefs home game at Arrowhead Stadium.
“[Taylor is] pleasant and really grounded. I experienced someone that renowned; you never know what may happen. When I introduced myself to her the first time we met, she answered, “Yes, I know who you are.” That Quarterback series was what I watched on Netflix. I understand you’re his father,” Pat said.
She also thanked me for allowing her to spend the day in the suite. I replied, “Well, it’s not my suite, but you know it’s owned by Patrick and Brittany [Mahomes] if you want to give them some props.” She was pleasant, though. Pat exclaimed that Swift “made [their] day” by taking pictures with other members of his family.
