Isabella Strahan, the daughter of Michael Strahan, is providing a personal peek into her recuperation after undergoing her first round of chemotherapy for her brain tumor.
After spending a month away from the hospital, Isabella returned home and uploaded the most recent video in her series on YouTube, which chronicles her journey since a massive medulloblastoma tumor in her cerebellum was discovered and surgically removed in October. Isabella makes two “surprise” hospital return trips in the update.
The 19-year-old claimed she had to return to the hospital repeatedly due to fevers. Three days into her first stay, she was heard saying on the film, “If you get a fever of 100.4, you have to come in.”

Isabella’s initial stay included an MRI, a blood transfusion, and games of bingo with her family during her downtime. She also tried to move and stretch. After being told it was “really painful” to have her chemotherapy port flushed, Isabella was cleared to leave but was hurried back to the emergency room in a matter of hours.
From a medical bed, “I catfished everyone,” she declared. “I have a fever again, so we came back less than 12 hours after we left the hospital three or four days ago.”
The model and college student explained that she had regained her fever of 102 degrees and that her medical team had been unsuccessfully attempting to determine the cause. She stated that she had been suffering from a headache without giving it much thought; “We’re in the emergency room now.” Isabella stated that although she had her highest fever since undergoing chemotherapy, it was not the most severe she had experienced thus far.
“I am not feeling well. “I do not feel dreadful,” she elaborated. She did specify that her mobility had “substantially deteriorated” ever since she began running circuits several days prior. “Currently, I am at a walking halt.”

Isabella underwent an unanticipated operation to drain fluid from the back of her cranium as the vlog came to a close. “Although I would be sedated, the surgical procedure was not my intention because I had no intention of returning to the hospital,” she explained.
Isabella described the symptoms she was experiencing in a previous video, which she produced soon after she got home after her chemotherapy treatment. These included discomfort in all areas of her body, including the bottom of her tongue and her eyes.
“Taking a sip of water hurts,” she remarked, laughing. Isabella was also open about maybe regretting the chemotherapy. “Now that I think about it, I would rather have radiation,” she remarked, smirking. “That’s a little extreme, but I would say that I prefer brain surgery to [chemotherapy].” “This is just the longest journey; it’s the hardest,” she continued.
