Here’s What Ariana Grande Advised Her Supporters Against Spreading Hate!

Following the release of her new album “Eternal Sunshine,” Ariana Grande advised her supporters against belittling members of her inner circle. The 30-year-old pop star posted a message to her Instagram Story followers on Saturday, following the release of her seventh studio album on Friday.

“I would like to express my strong disapproval of individuals who are spreading hateful messages to those in my life based on their interpretation of this album. Such individuals are not supporting me and are doing the exact opposite of what I would ever advocate for (while also grossly misinterpreting the intentions behind the music)…”I kindly request that you refrain from doing so. That is not the way to support me. “The opposite is true,” Grande wrote.

She continued by saying “Although this album captures a lot of painful moments, it also is woven together with a through[sic] line of deep, sincere love…”

“if you cannot hear that, please listen more closely,” Grande continued. Subsequently, the two-time Grammy Award winner published an additional message on her Instagram Story, expressing gratitude: “Thank you! “How I adore you!!!!!”

Grande has not released a full-length album since “Eternal Sunshine” debuted four years ago, after her platinum-selling album “Positions” in 2020. After Grande’s highly publicized divorce from ex-husband Dalton Gomez, the album was released.

Amidst reports that she was having intimate relations with her “Wicked” co-star, 31-year-old Ethan Slater, Grande filed for divorce from Gomez in July. Slater and his spouse Lilly Jay, with whom he has a one-year-old boy, separated in the same month.

Although Grande and Slater haven’t publicly acknowledged their romance, they have been caught out together multiple times since divorcing.

Grande’s followers have analyzed the album’s lyrics and speculated on social media since the Friday release of “Eternal Sunshine,” whether some of the thirteen tracks were inspired by her divorce from Gomez or rumored relationship with Slater.

According to Grande, an actor and longtime admirer of Jim Carrey, the album was inspired in part by his work from 2005, “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.” Following a traumatic breakup, Carrey and Kate Winslet portrayed ex-lovers in the science fiction romantic drama who use futuristic technology to erase all memories of one another.

The “thank you, next” singer has refrained from explicitly stating whether or not the album was influenced by her personal relationships.
