Just two days after being detained for attempting to get into Taylor Swift’s apartment, the alleged stalker was discovered on Monday outside the singer’s residence in New York City.
A New York Police Department spokesman tells the media that an arrest was made in response to reports from the local community about the presence of an unidentified person of concern. But it appears that his Saturday arrest wasn’t enough to deter him, as an eyewitness said that he was spotted returning to Swift’s home a short while after his capture.
By Monday at around 3 p.m. local time, the accused stalker was spotted visiting her house once more. That evening, however, at six o’clock, the police took him into jail.
According to a second eyewitness, Swift’s security team purportedly requested that Swift be arrested outside the building. “They pursued him by Bubby’s on Hudson,” the second source informs us. His resistance necessitated a tackle.
The NYPD informs us that charges remain pending. The news was initially reported by TMZ. While media attempted to contact Swift’s representative for comment, they did not respond immediately.
As soon as officers arrived at Swift’s residence on Saturday in response to a report of a “disorderly person,” they were informed that the suspicious person had attempted to enter through a building’s entrance.
Even though the police have not confirmed the break-in, a separate source informed us that they observed the intruder attempting to access her residence.
“At approximately 1:00 p.m., I first observed him approaching Taylor’s door,” the eyewitness stated. “Whether he knocked or rang the doorbell is uncertain.”
Additionally, one source informed us that the person had been loitering in the area “for a few weeks”; another informant stated that they had observed the man “for a month.” As stated by the second source, his activities included “constantly chain-smoking, sleeping on the stoop, shouting, and generally causing discomfort for others.”
“My husband asked my neighbor what he was doing here before Christmas, and he replied, ‘I want to see Taylor,'” the neighbor asserted. “He even once possessed flowers.”
Officers did not intervene until the man attempted to enter the building, despite being summoned “many times,” according to the additional information provided by the insider. According to the police, the suspect was apprehended in connection with an active arrest warrant. On Monday, the New York Police Department verified that he had been arrested in 2015 for failing to respond to a summons.
Swift had spent her Sunday in Orchard Park, New York, supporting her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, despite the stressful circumstances. His brother, Jason Kelce, stole the show during the game by removing his shirt in celebration of the team’s victory over the Buffalo Bills.
