Actress Alyssa Milano is responding to fans who were angered by her request for donations to her son’s baseball team on social media.
Milano announced on X, formerly Twitter, the day following her request for donations that she had received numerous “media inquiries regarding whether [she] has made a financial contribution to [her son’s baseball team].”
“I’ve paid for uniforms for the entire team and coaches, thrown bday parties and sponsor any kid who can’t afford monthly dues,” she reported on Friday. “The children also organize car washes, movie nights, and numerous other enjoyable fundraising events!” Gratitude is extended to everyone who has donated to the gofundme. Your assistance has significantly simplified matters for these young individuals and their families.”
Milano and David Bugliari, her spouse, entered into matrimony in August 2009. The couple is the proud parents of two children: Milo, aged 12, and Elizabella, aged 9.
“My son’s baseball team is raising money for their Cooperstown trip,” Milano posted on X Thursday. “Any amount would be so greatly appreciated.” She also provided additional information on how to reach the GoFundMe page.

Social media users were perplexed as to why Milano was soliciting money from her followers despite her multimillionaire status. Milano appeared in the blockbuster drama “Charmed” for six seasons, while Bugliari is the co-head of motion picture talent at Creative Artists Agency.
Many were left wondering “why isn’t Alyssa Milano paying for the trip for the whole team herself,” while others questioned why the actress is “asking for money from people who can barely buy groceries.”
“The Alyssa Milano has completely lost all sanity. Someone can be so tone-deaf and out of touch, according to one user.

“Just a reminder: Alyssa Milano and her husband are each multi-millionaires,” a different individual stated. “They could pay for the entire trip for the whole team without batting an eye!”
While many were fast to judge the “Who’s the Boss” star’s post, a few were willing to contribute by commenting, “This is incredible. “You’ve accomplished so much for so many individuals,” and “Your trip sounds fantastic, Alyssa. I wish him an amazing experience.”
