Actor Zachery Ty Bryan of Home Improvement was arrested again; according to police documents, the 42-year-old was accused of felony DUI and contempt of court charges over the weekend.
The actor was hauled into jail on Saturday in La Quinta, California, and sent to the John Benoit Detention Center, according to documents kept by the Riverside County Sheriff. For the felony DUI charge and the misdemeanor contempt of court charge, his bail was set at $50,000 and $15,000, respectively.
Bryan was freed later on Saturday and is scheduled to appear in court at the Indio Larson Justice Center on April 23. Bryan’s representative has been contacted by EW for comment. The La Quinta Police Department was closed on Presidents’ Day, according to an automated message that EW received on attempting to contact them.

The actor’s arrest on Saturday is the most recent in a string of legal issues that have beset him recently. In October, he pled guilty to fourth-degree felony assault and was sentenced to seven days in jail, which his attorney stated he had already served.
Bryan Was Also Arrested Previously
Bryan was apprehended in July after the Eugene, Oregon, police investigation into an alleged physical altercation. Although initially arrested on several offenses, he was subsequently released.

Before pleading guilty to misdemeanors for menacing and assault in 2020, the actor, who depicted Tim Allen’s eldest son Brad Taylor on Home Improvement, was arrested for assault against his ex-girlfriend Johnnie Faye Cartwright in 2020.
“[The police] ultimately throw a bunch of counts at you to coerce you into pleading guilty,” he later explained to The Hollywood Reporter regarding his arrest in 2020. “I could have fought it, but that would have added to the drama and stress.” I pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanors and ceased my legal proceedings.
