John Felix Anthony Cena is an American actor, rapper, and professional wrestler. He has been a wrestler for WWE since 2001, however, he has only been doing shows occasionally since 2018. As acknowledged by WWE, John Cena is a record 16-time world champion and is considered one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time.
To pursue a career as a bodybuilder, Cena relocated to California in 1998. In 1999, he transitioned to professional wrestling and made his debut for Ultimate Pro Wrestling (UPW). He got a contract with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), which changed its name to WWE in 2002. He was put in charge of Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), the organization’s developmental region, where he won the OVW Heavyweight Championship and OVW Southern Tag Team Championship.

John Cena was born in West Newbury, Massachusetts, on April 23, 1977. John Cena is the son of John Joseph Cena and Carol Cena; his siblings are Matt Cena, Dan Cena, Steve Cena, and Sean Cena. John’s mother has French-Canadian and English ancestry. His father, who was an in-ring announcer for Chaotic Wrestling, is of Italian descent. John Cena is his parents’ second-oldest son.

Cena lives in the Florida town of Land o’ Lakes. He has made it clear time and time again that he does not want children since he does not want to be an absentee dad while pursuing his professional goals.
Announcing his engagement to Elizabeth Huberdeau, Cena announced while promoting his 2009 flick 12 Rounds. The couple tied the knot on July 11, 2009. Cena filed for divorce on May 1, 2012, and it was completed on July 18. He started dating fellow wrestler Nikki Bella later that year. On April 2, 2017, during WrestleMania 33, Cena proposed to her, and they got engaged. However, they broke up in April 2018, just before their May 5 wedding.

After dating Shay Shariatzadeh since early 2019, Cena tied the knot in a private ceremony in Tampa, Florida on October 12, 2020. The two got to know one another while filming Cena’s 2019 movie Playing with Fire in Vancouver, where Shariatzadeh is employed.
