Cocaine Godmother or Black Widow, Griselda Blanco Restrepo was a Colombian drug kingpin who dominated the underworld and cocaine-based drug trade in Miami, United States, from the 1970s to the early 2000s. Griselda Blanco Restrepo was born on the north coast of Cartagena, Colombia. At the age of three, she and her mother, Ana Restrepo, relocated to Medellín, an event that promptly acquainted her with the complexities of the illicit underworld. In the end, a jury found her guilty and gave her a 15-year prison sentence along with a $25,000 fine.
Griselda was charged by the state of Florida with three counts of first-degree murder while she was serving her federal term in New York. She was outside a butcher shop when the masked man shot her twice in the head before fleeing on a motorcycle, according to the Miami Herald. She was reportedly with her pregnant daughter-in-law at the time, who was not injured in the incident.
