Faith describes her voyage from anorexia and depression to the healing power of family and love. When she traveled to Los Angeles to break into the film and television industries, she was a pageant victor, Harvard graduate, and Rhodes Scholar.
But the unpredictability of the entertainment industry, the death of his mother, and the dissolution of his marriage have all taught him that there are limits to what one can anticipate and plan for in life. Personal Information About Faith Salie
In South Weymouth, Massachusetts, Salie was born to parents Robert Salie and Gail Coley Salie. Her two older siblings and she were raised in Dunwoody, Georgia. Salie was a devout Catholic as a child. Salie has been performing since she was a toddler; she decided to pursue acting after winning the main role in a play in fourth grade.
At the age of 13, she began her professional career in children’s theater. She performed in school plays and musicals alongside such notables as Matt Damon, Mo Rocca, and China Forbes. Salie graduated from North Springs High School in Georgia’s Fulton County in 1989.
Before attending Harvard, she completed an undergraduate year at Northwestern University. She studied modern French and English history and literature at Harvard and graduated with Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude honors.
