Indian Army TGC 140 Eligibility Criteria 2024
To be eligible for the Indian Army TGC 140 recruiting, a candidate must meet the specified qualifying requirements.
Nationality
An applicant has to be one of two:
- An Indian national, or
- An issue about Nepal or,
- An individual of Indian descent who has made India their permanent home after emigrating from places like Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.
- As long as the applicant falls into one of the aforementioned categories
- and is the recipient of an eligibility certificate from the Indian government.
- However, applicants who are Nepalese Gurkha subjects will not need a certificate of eligibility.
- Should a certificate of eligibility be required for an applicant, it will be included in the application.
In case an individual needs a certificate of eligibility, it will be sent with the application.
Age Limit
The person running for office should be between the ages of 20 and 27 on January 1, 2025. People who were born between January 2, 1998, and January 1, 2005, but not including those dates.
How age relief is given is set by government rules.
Educational Qualification
Anyone can apply as long as they have either finished the necessary Engineering Degree course or are in their last year of study.
By July 1, 2024, people in their last year of an engineering degree program must be able to show proof that they passed the engineering degree exam along with their grade records from all years and classes.
Also, they have to show proof of their engineering degree within 12 weeks of the start of classes at the Indian Military Academy (IMA).
