Here’s How Beautifully Treat Williams Gets Tribute From Blue Bloods!

In June, Treat Williams lost his life in a motorcycle accident at the unfortunate age of 71. Blue Bloods is now honoring the late star with a tribute.

Former colleague and cherished best friend of New York City Police Commissioner Francis “Frank” Reagan (Tom Selleck), Lenny Ross, was last seen on the police procedural in a season 13 episode where he disclosed a cancer diagnosis. Blue Bloods disclosed in Friday’s episode that Lenny passed away as a result of his illness.

Lenny’s daughter Tess (Simone Policano) is detained following a bar brawl in this episode, putting Frank in a difficult position where he must decide whether to maintain his friendship with her late father or uphold the law. Tess implores him indignantly to release her from incarceration. “I believed my father was your closest friend,” she declares. “I considered him to be my closest friend.” He responds, “And I will honor that by doing what is best for his daughter.”

Frank subsequently defends his tough-love attitude toward his colleagues. “Lenny was an admirable individual who harbored numerous imperfections,” he elaborates. “Additionally, one of them permitted his daughter to do whatever she pleased. Hence, he understood precisely what he was agreeing to when he requested my assistance in overseeing her. I believe that is the reason why he inquired of me.”

Frank and his father, Henry (Len Cariou), then engage in a fraught conversation in which Frank is advised to be more considerate of Tess. “Your father is not hers!” Henry remark. “She recently experienced the death of her father. Her father was a secret to her until within the past few years. Could you fathom the anguish of having something that you have diligently sought your entire existence only to have it abruptly taken from you? She may have been seeking more than just a bond.

He says, “If there is anything in particular you would like me to say, simply address Detective Baker.” “Are they planning to discharge firearms or engage in some other activity?” Tess inquires concerning her father’s farewell. “No. No. “However, an honor guard will be present,” Frank verifies. “Pumping bagpipes? “He despised bagpipes,” she elaborates. “He loved the elderly dogs, however,” she exclaimed in tears. “That is the function of bagpipes,” explains Frank. He then wishes her farewell after inviting her to a family dinner.

The episode ends with the Reagan family getting together for a meal, during which Frank pays respect to his friend who passed away. He adds, “There’s also someone who has dined here with us over the years but who will not be returning.”

“Lenny Ross served as my getaway driver, closest confidant, and oldest buddy. And this week, I lost him. It also hurts a ton. Lenny: We’ll miss you, but he’d hate it if we started crying and being silent and depressed. I’ll see you later on the road, and please spare me a seat at your table.
