The standout receiver for the Minnesota Vikings, Justin Jefferson, has come under fire for allegedly pressuring a lady to terminate her pregnancy while simultaneously being the father of a kid, according to the Daily Mail.
Andrea Galea filed a lawsuit in Essex County, New Jersey, family court on January 19. Galea claims she had a romantic relationship with Jefferson while they were both at LSU and that they resumed their relationship in April 2023. Galea says the All-Pro neglected to provide for her child, so she felt compelled to file the lawsuit.
Galea, a qualified lawyer, is asking Jefferson for a paternity test, as well as for financial assistance and health insurance. Although Stella Anastasia was born on December 21, 2023, Galea claims that Jefferson, 24, has not provided for her materially and has denied being her father.
Additionally, Galea claims that Jefferson “pressured” her to get an abortion. Jefferson “began acting towards her with great insensitivity and extreme cruelty” after Galea rejected him. According to Galea’s lawsuit, which was obtained by the Daily Mail, “the Defendant blocked the Plaintiff from communicating with him, and coldly told her to ‘[T]alk to me when the legal stuff come up.”
On January 26, Jefferson filed a countersuit, requesting an injunction to stop Galea from disclosing any information about the child. A paternity test was also requested by Jefferson. Jefferson contends in the countersuit that Galea promoted herself online using the child’s birth and the accusations made against him.
“Defendant [Galea] has a substantial presence and following on various social media platforms and has strategically positioned herself over the last several years to become a ‘online influencer,’” Jefferson’s counterclaim states.

According to a snapshot that the Daily Mail published, Jefferson texted Galea, asking, “So are you okay with getting this [situated]?” In a separate message, he added, “You can take care of the kid, you wanted it.” “I tried to tell u this was how it was going to go u didn’t believe me.”
Jefferson further stated that Galea’s persistent “annoyance” regarding the infant prompted him to alter his phone number. An additional text message contained Jefferson’s recommendation that Galea develop a backup plan.

“The longer you wait, the more difficult the situation will become; therefore, I wanted to provide you with the plan immediately.”Jefferson texted Galea, “B [because] I didn’t want to be in this situation, but it’s entirely my fault; I shouldn’t have done it in the first place.”
Justin ” Having adopted plan B, I realized it was already too late for it to be successful. “Depending on the cycle, it may be too late if you don’t take it within two hours,” she replied. “… and two individuals are perpetually responsible for this.” “From my perspective, I have never encountered a circumstance comparable to this…”
Jefferson is positioned to complete his inaugural year in 2024, as the Vikings exercised his fifth-year option for that amounting to $19.743.
