Madonna remains unfazed by her mishaps on stage. A dancer for the pop icon, 65, lost their footing on Sunday during her performance of “Open Your Heart” from 1986, causing her to experience a minor tumble. Despite the incident, she managed the situation with composure.
As the most recent stop on her Celebration Tour, Madonna performed the choreography for the track, which was inspired by its iconic music video, while seated in a chair at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena.
A few bars into her song, one of the dancers started dragging her across the stage in high heels as she was still singing in the chair.
But the dancer only managed to take around five steps before losing their balance, slipping, and collapsing to the ground behind Madonna, who fell out of the chair. But neither the dancer nor the pop artist missed a beat.
Madonna Continues to Sing After Falling Off Chair
The “Material Girl” singer resumed the song immediately after landing on the floor and rolled effortlessly off the chair onto the stage as the performer dragged it away.

Madonna, still beaming, stood up with the assistance of her cinematographer and resumed the “Open Your Heart” choreography as if nothing had transpired after eliciting a hearty chuckle.
Since beginning The Celebration Tour, which was first delayed due to Madonna’s hospitalization for a “serious bacterial infection,” the pop icon has garnered media attention for the tour that spans her whole career.
“My children were the first thing on my mind when I awoke in the hospital,” Madonna wrote on Instagram from her residence as she recovered. “Upon reflection, my second thought was that I did not wish to let down anyone who had purchased tickets for my tour. “I also didn’t want to disappoint the individuals who collaborated with me tirelessly for the past few months on the production of my show.”

She invited Julia Garner, who was supposed to play her in a biography, out on stage in December, not long after it was reported that Universal Pictures was no longer going to pursue the film.
The two, dressed in matching gauzy black ensembles, critiqued the choreography of the backup dancers for the “Like a Prayer” singer in a lighthearted manner. Then, for this segment of the Madison Square Garden performance last month, Kelly Ripa, another celebrity, joined the singer.
Three of Madonna’s six children appeared on stage with her during the same New York City performance: Mercy, 18, who performed a solo piece and “Bad Girl,” David, 18, who performed “Mother and Father,” and Estere, 11, who performed “Vogue.”
