Trying Season 4 Plot: What Will Be the Storyline?
When Apple showed off the first pictures from the new series, they hinted that teenagers will be the hardest thing Nikki and Jason have to deal with yet.
As we already said, season 4 of Trying takes place six years after the last episode. The couple we love has finally built the family they’ve always wanted. But now that their two kids are grown, it’s a whole new ballgame being a parent of teens.
“In this exciting new season, we fast-forward six years to find that Nikki (Smith) and Jason (Spall) are experienced adopters who have built a lovely little nuclear family with the help of an amazing support network.”
“However, as their teenage daughter Princess (Scarlett Rayner), starts to yearn for a connection with her birth mother, Nikki and Jason find themselves confronted with the ultimate test of their parenting skills.”

There Are Now More Young Actors
Their two adopted kids, Princess and Tyler, are now played by Scarlett Rayner and Cooper Turner. They took the parts of Eden Togwell and Mickey McAnulty, who played the kids in seasons 2 and 3. The first look at season 4 from Apple can be seen below. They show the new cast members.
Also, we know that Sian Brooke (Blue Lights) will be back as Karen, Nikki’s sister, and Darren Boyd (The Outlaws) will be back as Scott, Karen’s husband.
