Kandi Burruss Taking a Break From RHOA, Reason Explained!

Kandi Burruss’s tenure on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” will conclude at the conclusion of Season 15.

Sunday on the Grammys red carpet, the 47-year-old Bravolebrity declared that she is “going to take a break” from the franchise, where she has been a regular since 2009.

“I have made the decision not to return this year. “They allowed us to sit around for a little too long, fourteen seasons ago,” Burruss told Variety, referring to the period since the Season 15 finale in August. “During that time I had started working on a lot of other things.”

The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter further stated, “I am extremely enthusiastic about some forthcoming major projects.”

During her time off the program, Burruss stated a friend asked her to consider why she keeps filming “RHOA.”

She remembered saying to her companion, “I think it feels weird to think not to do it because I’ve been doing it for so long.” Thus, I thought, ‘You know what? I’m going to pause and have a little look around. I will not be returning this year.”

Reason Behind Leaving RHOA

“You know, just after you’ve had some time to reflect, a friend of mine asked, ‘Why do you keep doing it?'” “Because I’ve been doing it for so long, I was thinking, ‘Well, it feels strange to consider not doing it,'” she reflected.

“Therefore, I simply thought, ‘You know what? I shall proceed with a pause. I am going to pause for a moment… “I will not be returning this year.”
