Recently, the former member of Fifth Harmony said farewell to her signature brunette hair and unveiled an epic blonde hair transformation. The “Havana” singer debuted her new hairstyle on February 1 via Instagram, a feature facilitated by hair colorist Nikki Lee.
Camila held up a camcorder in the short footage and captured her platinum blonde strands from various angles, thereby establishing them as the focal point. The singer opted for a “wet” hairstyle, designed by hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos, in which her waist-length hair appeared moistened and wavy in texture.

Assisting her with her glamor was makeup artist Patrick Ta, who applied black eyeliner that appeared slightly smeared for an authentic appearance and complemented it with a glossy brown lip, thereby carrying over the retro-inspired aesthetic.

What led to Camila’s dramatic transformation, though? Nikki provided some context. The founder of Nine Zero One revealed, “Camila wanted a big moment for 2024 and what bigger moment than her going platinum blonde.” She’s never been this color before. We assured each other that we could succeed as long as we took care of her hair as healthily as possible.”
The stylist, who also used L’Oreal Paris’ Féria Toner in Icy Blonde to achieve the effect, said that Camila’s makeover required three appointments to finish.
