Elisabeth Moss revealed her pregnancy during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Tuesday night.
“Are you pregnant or just an incredibly committed method actor?” Jimmy Kimmel, 56, asked Moss about her character’s pregnancy in “The Handmaid’s Tail.” “A little bit of both,” the “Mad Men” veteran joked before discussing how her pregnancy is doing.
Moss stated that she has been “really lucky” in how she has handled it thus far, saying, “It’s been going really well.” Moss, 41, went on to ask Kimmel, who has four children, for guidance.
Kimmel remembered a piece of advice comic icon Bill Murray gave him and his wife Molly McNearney before the couple welcomed one of their children. “He said, ‘Bring Christmas lights to hang up [in the delivery room],'” Kimmel explained, adding that Murray also advised bringing battery-powered candles.

“Because the lighting is terrible in the room,” he went on to say. “It’s Walmart-style lighting for this blessed event that’s going to happen and you don’t want that.” “I think that’s a really good list, I like that,” Moss said.
Moss Fueled Pregnancy Speculations in December
The two-time Emmy winner withheld other information about her pregnancy, such as when it would be due.
When Moss was photographed massaging her tummy on the Los Angeles set of her most recent project in December, it gave rise to rumors that she was pregnant.
The actress, who was wearing black sweatpants and an oversized plain gray T-shirt, gave off the impression that she was in a good mood as she smiled and conversed with people.

The “Invisible Man” actress has not been spotted in public since May, when she was filming the FX miniseries “The Veil” on location in England. Despite her careful efforts to keep her personal life quiet, Moss said in an interview with Marie Claire UK in 2018 that she aspires to become a mother.
She said at the time, “I like the idea of passing on what my mother passed on to me.” “I didn’t know if it would be for me, and it’s not for everyone, but lately, I think it is.”
She expressed a similar opinion in 2022 when she said that she “definitely” wanted children of her own someday, according to You magazine (via Daily Mail). She said, “I’ve been really inspired by the kind of mother my mum is.” “She worked a lovely magic on me.”
Moss has also avoided drawing attention to her romantic life, and it’s unclear if she’s dating anyone right now. She was formerly married for eight months, from 2009 to 2010, to comedian and actor Fred Armisen. She subsequently described their marriage as “extremely traumatic, awful, and horrible.” After that, from 2012 to 2015, she dated Australian cinematographer Adam Arkapaw.
