“A 70-pound loss! “Healthier and happier than I’ve been in years,” the 23-year-old TLC star wrote in the caption of an Instagram post published on January 19. “I am ecstatic to be finally taking the necessary steps toward improving my mind, body, and spirit, even though I still have a ways to go.”

In the photograph, Jazz was depicted carrying a double peace sign while donning a black and white tankini. The I Am Jazz star received an abundance of encouraging remarks from admirers in the comment section. “I am beyond proud of you.” “One person remarked, “I know how difficult it is to be both confident and committed to weight loss.” “So many find you to be an inspiration for a variety of reasons.” “You go, girl!”

“No matter your size, you are beautiful on the inside and out; however, I am aware of how this makes you feel and how joyful it must be!” Another devotee chimed in.

In an interview with I Am Jazz for season seven, the Harvard student talked about her dramatic weight gain and said she was “struggling severely with mental health issues” as she prepared to enter college. “I began to binge eat, and as a result, I kept gaining weight. And here I am today, about a hundred pounds heavier,” she remarked in the episode from November 2021.

“I’m posting this photo because it’s time for me to address my weight gain and hold myself accountable,” she stated in the post. “I’m ready to alter my ways; I’ve been saying I’m ready to turn a new leaf, but I’m running out of trees. I’m ready to take the initiative and make positive changes in my health and body.

How Did Jazz Lose Her Weight?

While Jazz hasn’t revealed her specific food and fitness program in the intervening years, she has posted multiple Instagram posts illustrating some of the efforts she’s done to live a healthy lifestyle, which includes working out and participating in a variety of sports.

In January 2024, she posted a video of herself running beside her father, who is a total hype man. “There she is…the 2024 Jazz,” he exclaimed as they ran together.

Oh, and the actress also joined a club lacrosse team at Harvard, where she attends college. “I played my first lacrosse game with the Harvard Club. It was so much fun!”🌟❤️,” she captioned a shot of herself on the field.

Jennings disclosed in an Instagram post from 2021 that she is afflicted with compulsive eating disorder. Within two years, according to Jennings, this disorder and “an increased appetite” brought on by the medications she takes contributed to her gaining nearly 100 pounds.
