Will There Be a Queens Season 2?

Queens Season 2 Cancelled

The singing drama will not be back for Season 2 according to TV Line. It will end in May 2022. Fans were sad to hear that the show had been canceled, though. The cancellation news came just three months into season 1.

Queens Season 1 Finale

In a flash-forward in the Season 1 end, the Nasty Bitches, who were now known as the Queens, started a live show during which Brianna seemed to have come back… but the episode finished without giving more information, so viewers couldn’t be sure. “We know there’s someone in that fourth spotlight, but who is it?!,” founder and director Zahir McGhee told TVLine in February.

It’s clear that I and the fans hope it’s Eve. “I know she’s really proud of the show, and I know she’s watching,” he said. It’s clear that the show is better with her there. This means that we are very hopeful that she will come back. It’s not something I ask her about, though, because being a new mom is much more important, and we want to give her time and room.

ABC also said that Promised Land, a Latino family soap opera, will not be back for a second season. Promised Land was taken off the schedule after only five episodes and sent to Hulu. With Live+7 playback, it had an average of 2.7 million people, which was second only to Queens among all ABC scripted shows, and a 0.2 demo rating.

Music

The First Queens’ promo song “Nasty Girl” came out on October 1, 2021. It featured Norwood along with Eve, Naughton, and Velazquez. On the same day, a music video made by Tim Story came out. On October 18, 2021, another rap song from the Queens album called “The Introduction” came out.

Nas helped write this one. Norwood also played a song from the soundtrack called “Hear Me” by herself, and it was made available for download and streaming around the world on the same day. Swizz Beatz is in charge of making the music for the show.

Three new songs were made available for download and streaming on all media sites at the same time as the second episode of the show. These were “Belly of the Bitch,” “Heart of Queens” (with rapper Cam’ron), and Brandy’s cover of Miley Cyrus’s “Wrecking Ball.” The four stars rapped “Girls Gonna Run That,” which came out on November 1, 2021.
